You’re invited to Sunday School for All Ages!
Your family is welcome here! St. James has Sunday school for children from ages three through adult, as well as various Bible study and prayer groups which are held during the week throughout the year. Join us for some very interesting and uplifting discussions!
Please contact Lydia in the church office at (845) 331-3030 or office-stjamesumc@verizon.net and tell her which group you’d like to attend. She will e-mail you the Zoom link or other information if applicable. Here are some of the events planned:
Adult Sunday School
Join us for book studies, videos and interesting discussions!
When: 11:45AM- 12:45 PM on Sundays
Where: The Berryann Library at church and via Zoom
Teachers: Barbara Sanborn, Linda Primiano
Family Sunday School Class
Godly Play class in person intended for ages 3 to grade 5, but tweens are also welcome. A parent or other family member should also please attend this class with younger children.
When: 9:00-10AM on Sundays in the fall, winter, and spring
Where: In person upstairs in Harold Harrison Hall.

Teen Bible Study
Join other youth in grades 6-12 to study the connections between Bible stories and current events in life. We’ll use online videos, books and discussions.
When: Sundays from 9:00-10AM
Where: Treadwell Room
Teachers: Peter Weyand, Rob Leibowitz
United Women in Faith at St. James
Our UWF will be meeting in person in the Treadwell room and via Zoom, usually once a month. Please contact the church office to get added to the UWF e-mail list if you’re not already on it.
Youth Group
We hope to organize some outdoor hikes or other outdoor events. If your teen is interested (or if you’re an adult who’d like to help) please reach out to the church office.
New Members Class
Pastor Bob will be teaching a new members class on Zoom this May. Please let the church office know if you’re interested!
